Why love how you eat is about loving how you live
I’ve been writing the mission statement for Love How You Eat and it’s been an incredibly powerful experience that’s emboldened me to keep sharing its message.
I don’t believe that there’s a particular type of food and/or body that’s BEST, despite culture and the diet industry conditioning us otherwise.
I believe it’s about how you uniquely feel in yourself.
And ultimately, it comes down to loving how you LIVE.
Food plays a part of our lives EVERY SINGLE DAY.
The energy behind our eating has the power to make or break a day.
If you spend your time constantly thinking about food and what you’re eating, shaming yourself for how you eat and look, abandoning your body and escaping your emotions through food, hating how you feel in your clothes and avoiding social interactions and challenges as a result of it, then you’re missing what’s possible for you.
I truly believe if you can learn new eating habits (and unlearn old ones) that mean you love how you eat and take care of yourself each day, then you won’t just feel good in your body.
You will LOVE HOW YOU LIVE.
And of course that’s what I want for you and for all women who feel like this is taking up too much of your valuable time.
Life is too precious to spend it worrying about whether you’re acceptable and good enough — because of course you already are.
But that also doesn’t mean you just have to ACCEPT things as they are and carry on feeling unconfident, overweight, unhealthy, frustrated or depleted.
When you change the eating behaviours that you’ve been leaning on for emotional management, you will create confidence, a healthy weight, a happy body, inner peace and boundless energy.
Not to mention the increased resilience and emotional management that comes from knowing you can handle how you feel without using food and alcohol as a crutch. This resilience will open up your life in unexpected and beautiful ways.
My clients want to travel the world and enjoy food.
They want to break bread with their family and eat it!
They want to know how to eat the foods they love without overeating and consequent restriction.
And they want to be able to manage their emotional life without numbing and buffering with food and alcohol.
They want freedom. Trust. Peace. The ability to eat intuitively and in support of their bodies.
THIS is what Love How You Eat is all about and I want YOU to experience the glorious peace and freedom that comes from stopping calorie counting and dieting and following someone else’s rules, and connecting back with the intuitive power that already resides within you.
Are you with me? 💫
